Burning of yard waste and woody debris is allowed in the district only during approved burn days.  Each property owner must have a valid burn permit and verify burn day status by calling (760)872-2555

Once your permit is obtained, please observe the following rules:

• Allowable hours for burning are from 6 am until 12 pm
• No new fires after 12 pm
• All smoke out by 2 pm
• Responsible adult in attendance at all times
• Have a shovel and/or water available at a minimum
• DO NOT BURN IN HIGH WINDS
• Cease burning if winds pick up
• Be aware of your surroundings.  Embers can ignite fires away from your main burn
• Follow all rules on your burn permit
