New Incident - Semi-Trailer Fire  10/30/2024

White Mountain Fire units were dispatched to a semi-trailer fire at midnight on 10/30/24.  The location given by the reporting party was ambiguous, which led to multiple agencies being dispatched to an area "20 minutes north of Bishop." The vehicle was located on Highway 6 at Zack Ranch.  The Semi driver had detached the trailer on the shoulder of the highway in an effort to save the truck.  The fire was extinguished, and the trailer was dragged out of the travel lane.  No injuries were reported.  Thank you to Bishop Fire, Chalfant Fire, and CHP for responding.
