New Incident - Structure Fire 11/15/24

White Mountain Fire units were dispatched to a residential structure fire at approximately 2245 on 11-15-24 at Cottonwood Ranch in Hammil Valley. Upon arrival, a single residential trailer was fully involved in the fire. An outbuilding containing the resident's belongings was threatened, as well as the resident's vehicle parked nearby. A water tender from Chalfant Valley and an additional Engine from Cal Fire were requested for mutual aid. With the help from the Chalfant Valley Tender Crew, arriving White Mountain units were able to contain the fire to the original structure and limit any spread to nearby exposures. The Cal-Fire engine was canceled en route. The fire displaced a single resident, and alternate lodging arrangements were confirmed due to the cold temperatures. No injuries were reported.
